Maus Haus

Went to see the Generationals at the Local 506 in Carborro, NC this weekend. The opening band was a pleasant surprise. Maus Haus, who hails from San Francisco, has a dark and vibrant stage show. They remind me of a modern day Jefferson Airplane with their psychedelic visuals and air of smart mystery. I had quick encounter with the bassist (pictured on the left) when I was buying their new EP, Light Noise. He was unexpectedly friendly and his energy on stage is encouraging. Excited to listen to the EP and check out their older tracks as well.

Oh yeah, and the Generationals were obviously delightful.
