Everything Is Vibrating

I found Jon Carling a while back while looking for chalkboard inspiration. Ink on simple paper has always been my favorite medium. The combination of brown, white, and black is just perfection in my eyes. If I had to choose one word to describe his style I would pick the word brew.

He whimsically combines odd creatures together. It makes me want to find a magic mirror and transport myself to another world where his drawings are alive. Many of his illustrations represent different mammals riding one another or emitting an energy flow from their bodies. Magical.
