Cabinet of Curiosity

German artist Regine Ramseier gathered thousands of dandelion puffs for an installation, effortlessly titled ‘Calm’, at The ArToll art lab.
Both sites were in German and needed translating, though the words are nonetheless inspiriting.
…A symbol of life and birth. A symbol of transience. Pause a moment. Hold your breath and the ephemeral a breath turn. Amazement in the Wunderkammer…
Regine Ramseier (artist)
…Art has always had extremes and do art in recent decades and to already marginal with explosives. I wish the ArTollern that the flame blazes continue their enthusiasm and the fire of their creativity is not to delete continue.

My favorite reference is to the wunderkammer:
A cabinet of curiosities was an encyclopedic collection in Renaissance Europe of types of objects whose categorial boundaries were yet to be defined. They were also known by various names such as Cabinet of Wonder, and in German Kunstkammer (“art-room”) or Wunderkammer (“wonder-room”).
*Sigh*
