Cars Are So Yesterday

I’ve been following the story on Hövding for a while, and the film really drives it home. What a smart, smart, purposeful invention. Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin took time, did the planning, raised the capital (a measly 10 million dollars) and brushed off the criticism. They researched their asses off and created something that could revolutionize the biking world. With enough momentum it could impact how we travel period.

I fucking love it.

My favorite part of the film [2:11 mark] is when they say, “people wonder how girls could invent anything so technical” and they are shooting the shoes of the girls and then the man sitting across from them. It’s amazing.

GIRL POWER!
