We’re on the hunt for inspiration and new friends to help spread the TAY HAM love! Follow us as we spend two weeks exploring the West Coast via the beautiful PCH!!
Our adventure begins in Lake Tahoe and winds through the Red Wood Forest and California’s Wine Country. We’ll stop in for a visit with Dennis Peron at San Francisco’s legendary Castro’s Castle and check out the hep cats in Oakland for a day.
Heading south we’ll make papusa pit stops in Santa Cruz, and stay the night in San Luis Obispo - in a Yurt, on an Ant Farm. Our tour wraps in Venice Beach - home of the boardwalk sideshows!
We will be stopping for anything and everything that catches our eye on the open road. STAY TUNED!
Marriage! It’s dynamic and it’s forever. Just like Diana Ross and disco. No, let’s be serious here. Marriage is more like space. It’s the final frontier and so so special. Best of luck you crazy kids!
This brings us to the next occasion: an in-laws birthday.
I am going to preface this with a mini rant regarding the hyphenated compound, “in-law”. For example; “father-in-law” or “mother-in-law” or saying “my in-laws”. Not only is there an excessive amount of hyphens but it’s a fricking mouth full. Also, I love my in-laws and “in-laws” just seems so formal… in-law… pffft. What if you’re a rebel and don’t follow no stinkin’ law? THEN WHAT?!
Anyway. I missed my husband Ross’ Dads birthday (yeah… still working on that replacement) and was pretty bummed I couldn’t celebrate with everybody.
Our Pop-Up Shop went swimmingly! Met bunches of new friends and was gifted two plants (purple Orchid and a Joey Paw) for the studio! The best part was getting to see real life responses to the TAYHAM card collection. This new adventure brings something new to light everyday - Life is good.
Now it’s time to kick off our shoes and get back to the grind - which this week includes making custom wedding invitations, thank you cards for previously mentioned plants and birthday cards. Now, what sort of wedding card do you make for a couple who gave us a Peace Lilly and a pound of meat for Christmas last year?
Heyy-o! We were invited to be an exhibitor over at papernstitch this month by our pal Brittni. Pop over toTAYHAM’snewest corner of the interwebs where our greeting cards have been dubbed, “NEW AND NOTABLE!”
